SCOTLAND'S hay fever sufferers are facing one of their longest summers of misery, experts claim.
This year's dry winter and sunny spring meant people were complaining of hay fever at the start of April.
The first really high pollen counts were recorded on June 5, at least a week before they are normally expected.
And weather forecasters are predicting mixed weather which will keep the hay fever season going longer than normal.
