Jun. 18--PARIS--United Airlines' decision to join forces with Tenzing Communications and Verizon AirFone to offer passengers two-way e-mail access would seem to be a major blow to Connexion, Boeing's planned broadband Internet offering.
Connexion Chief Executive Scott Carson isn't so sure.
"I fully expect United to be a (Connexion) customer within three years," Carson predicted during a media reception at Boeing's chalet at the Paris Air Show.
"United helped us invent (Connexion)."
