Central Square voters Tuesday elected a new mayor who opposed the Wal-Mart SuperCenter and has called for a more open village government.
They also elected a new village justice.
In Hannibal, a village trustee lost her re-election bid and, in Cleveland, the two trustee candidates on the ballot won. Elections in Oswego County's seven other villages took place in March.
The new Central Square mayor, Michael Dixon, beat incumbent Millard W. "Mudd" Murphy by a vote of 221 to 111.
