COUNTRYSIDE: I was reading about the calcium prices. Maybe some people are not asking for the right calcium for their soil. Calcium can be purchased by the ton from a quarry in the form of ground limestone in most places in the U.S. for $8 to $12 a ton or in 50-pound bags at Wal-Mart for $1.60-$1.90.
Here are some types of calcium:
