A ROW over the opening hours of a village post office reached Parliament yesterday. The couple that run the sub post office in Kittle, near Bishopston, have been threatened with closure because they close for lunch.
Now Gower MP Martin Caton has stepped into the row. John and Linda Mizen, who run the business on the holiday peninsula, say they cannot find cover for lunchtimes among the small population of Kittle. And members of their staff either have other commitments at lunchtime or could not be asked to man a subpost office on their own. So the Post Office shuts ...
