PALMDALE - Lt. Col. Celeo Wright, commander of Air Force Plant 42, will retire next month after 28 years in the service.
Wright, an officer for 22 years, will relinquish the post he has held for three years on July 29.
``This assignment has exceeded my expectations,'' Wright said. ``I really appreciate the way I was received by the community.''
Wright, who is looking for a home in the Antelope Valley, said he will take a brief break before heading back to work, likely in the acquisition field.
