Article: GROUPS JOINING TO FORM MADISON YOUTH CHOIRS.(COMMUNITIES)

The Madison Boychoir and the Madison Children's Choir are merging into the Madison Youth Choirs.

The merger takes effect July 1. It will serve youths between the ages of 8 and 18, giving them the opportunity to serve in nine choral groups (five for girls and four for boys). Activities will include weekly rehearsals, annual concerts, music retreats, individual vocal coaching and tours.

The new organization will be under the musical direction of Dann Krunnfusz and Lisa Kjentvet.

Executive Director Eric Salisbury said it would not affect the more than 300 families who currently belong to both organizations.
