Animation Is Principal Feature in Application
Jim Gentry, a finance professor at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, has developed several applications for courses he teaches to large classes of commerce and business administration undergraduates. Recently he set out to create a simulation that demonstrated the cash flow cycle--the movement of cash into and out of a business. Gentry had already developed a similar simulation for a course on short-run financial management, however the principles also apply to the larger-encompassing introduction to corporate finance.
