Queensland's ABW Tools imports impact sockets, car accessory tools and key screwdriver bits. The private firm expanded rapidly, presenting financing problems to ex-owner Mark Wilson. ABW has been acquired by Stanley Australia. Tony Jackson, the MD of Stanley, says AWB will complement its Sidchrome business. Sidchrome will be re-launched following the takeover.
