A good portion of the genetic fiber that holds MSX International Inc. together comes from a division of Ford Motor Co.
Many of MSX International's main business services were developed as a result of the 1997 acquisition of Geometric Results Inc., previously a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford.
Business ties between the two companies date back at least to the 1980s, and MSX International's engineering work for Ford includes projects such as development of the Ka, a small car Ford sells in Europe.
