PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -- PALM SPRINGS, Calif., June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- When NASCAR Winston Cup driver Kyle Petty and his fellow bikers fire up their motorcycles this weekend, they'll have more than 3,000 miles of pavement between them and their inspiration for riding -- the smiling faces of some very special children.
Petty, who drives his #45 Georgia-Pacific Dodge at the Infineon Raceway road course in Sonoma, Calif., this weekend, will lead a pack of 225 bikers, including other NASCAR celebrities and business executives, in the 9th annual Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America presented by Georgia-Pacific.
