Jun. 20--Eight-year-old Karl Pyka of Redlands loves to play on his computer.
But lately the third-grader has been turning off his computer in favor of reading about the adventures of Harry Potter, a young wizard learning to deal with his magical powers.
Karl, a third-grader, recently became interested in the Harry Potter books that older brother Max, 12, had already enjoyed.
"I'm reading 'Goosebumps' (book series) now, too," Karl said.
"Reading and the computer are my two favorite things, but sometimes I shut off the computer ...
