LOS ANGELES -- LOS ANGELES, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Clear Channel Radio CEO John Hogan was named Radio Group Executive of the Year in the sixth annual Industry Achievement Awards presented by Radio & Records. Hogan, who was appointed to his position last year, oversees the country's largest radio group, which comprises 1,200 stations.
Among other highlights of the 2003 awards: Emmis' KPWR/Los Angeles swept the CHR/Rhythmic category by winning Station of the Year, Program Director of the Year, Music Director of the Year and Air Personality/Show of the Year.
