Like the famous tree that sprouted in the tower of its Decatur County courthouse, Greensburg is a small town that continues to grow. An economic boom began in 1987 as new business and industry discovered the potential in this city's work force.
"We are very fortunate for a city this size to have as many industries as we have," says Sheldon Smith, mayor of the Decatur County seat.
