CNN To Continue 'Round-the-Clock War Coverage
Cable News Network is standing behind its commitment to provide continuous coverage of the war in the Persian Gulf, despite some mud-slinging by the broadcast networks.
While ratings have predictably dropped off from the record-breaking 19.1 rating/25 share A.C. Nielsen Co. said it earned Jan. 16, the night war erupted, CNN will continue to provide 24-hour coverage of the crisis, a decision cable operators cheer.
