A repetitive image of the American eagle from the Great Seal of the United States creates a new strip of 10 non-denominated stamps.
The detail of the eagle appears on a set of Presorted First-Class stamps that will be issued Thursday at the Postage Stamp Mega-Event show in Santa Clara, Calif.
The stamps have a value of 25 cents and will be issued in self-adhesive coils of 10,000, which are generally used by high-volume mailers.
The design features an artistic rendering by Tom Engeman of a detail of the Great Seal.
