I am a nine-year named Madeline with an older brother who has Down syndrome. David is smart, funny, learns easily and has a love of reading. David loves playing house; he likes to be the one-hundred-year-old grandmother.
When David was in kindergarten we got him glasses. David didn't like wearing them and put them down in the most unusual places. Once he put them down in such an unusual spot we couldn't find them. After a week of looking, we finally found them right on the blade of the ceiling fan.
