THE BRISTOL Auction Rooms' sale held in their Clifton rooms on June 17 included some particularly fine pictures.
Top price of the section was pounds 7,000 paid for an original oil on canvas by Sir William Russell Flint entitled Carmelita's Pink Comb (60 x 49.5cm), being a portrait of one of his Spanish beauties but alas, as the auctioneers say, fully clothed. ...
