Oswego County residents and business owners who sustained damage in April's ice storm have until July 11 to apply for disaster loans and other financial assistance.
Representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the New York State Emergency Management Office and the federal Small Business Administration are working in a temporary disaster recovery center that opened May 30 in Schroeppel.
As of last week, 864 county residents or owners of businesses in Oswego County had applied for assistance, according to Marianne Jackson, federal coordinating officer for the disaster recovery operation in Central New York.
