The price of clean air Food processors are keeping a close watch on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as it begins to draft implementing regulations for the new clean air law signed by President Bush.

Although the food processing industry is in a much better position than some others, it will experience at least secondary effects from the comprehensive law. The result may be higher manufacturing and distribution costs.
