Attakiska Alaskan premium vodka goes sip-to-sip with Russia's best
NORWALK - A Fairfield County company has launched a new American-made premium vodka, throwing down the gauntlet to market leaders Absolut and Stolichnaya, two premium vodkas imported from Russia.
Mountaintop Corp. expects its Attakiska Alaskan vodka to garner 25 percent of the premium market within the next 10 years. About 4 billion cases of premium vodka - which sells for more than $10 for a 750 milliliter bottle - are sold annually in the United States.
