Jun. 23--When Roger Derby's grandmother ironed napkins at Model Laundry, people could drop off their laundry and pick it up the same day.
Eighty-five years after its opening, Textile Care Services -- as Model Laundry is now called -- still offers same-day service, but now its clients are Mayo Clinic, hotels and nursing homes, from Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
But the Derby family is still at the plant.
