NUTMEG GETS BACK IN BLACK IN 4th QTR.
TAMPA, Fla. (FNS) -- Nutmeg Industries, Inc., citing strong sales of its Nutmeg Mills-brand products and improvements in response times, reported a $536,000 profit in the fourth quarter against a year-ago loss and vastly improved full-year earnings.
The profit in the three months ended Jan. 26, equivalent to 9 cents a share, compares with a loss of $1,867,000 in the year-ago period. Sales soared 68.6 percent to $18,245,000 from $10,819,000.
