CATEGORY. Funds ate classified by category. Investment-grade corporate bond funds are either ST Corp (short-term), Int Corp (intermediate-term) or LT Corp (long-term). Government bond funds are divided between ST Govt, Int Govt and LT Govt. In each instance, short-term means the average time until maturity is less than three years, intermediate means three to ten years, and long-term means mote than ten years.
