CNN weekender Anderson Cooper _ promoted Monday to 7 p.m. weekday anchor _ said he would never see a colorist. (Cooper's been gray for half his 36 years.)
"It's an act of vanity I'm not ready to commit to. Why not wear a button that says, `I sit in a salon with tin foil on my hair for three hours a month reading Rosie?' "
After filling in for Paula Zahn in the 7-to-9 p.m. slot, the New York-based Cooper had expected to return to weekends. And to his commutes to CNN's Atlanta headquarters, site of virtually all its weekend shows.
