PHILADELPHIA _ It has come to this: Connecticut's attorney general said he plans to be in court Thursday morning, moving forward with a lawsuit about a "deliberate scheme to destroy the Big East."
But as Attorney General Richard Blumenthal prepared to make preliminary arguments today in Connecticut Superior Court, he said Wednesday that he couldn't be sure which Big East Conference schools he is representing and which he is suing.
"Obviously, the situation is very fluid in alignments and alliances of different schools," Blumenthal said in a statement.
