WELSH minnows TNS Llansantffraid were last night on the verge of taking a massive Euro gamble by bringing their UEFA Cuptie with Kevin Keegan's Manchester City to the Millennium Stadium.
The pipe dream from TNS owner Mike Harris, reported in The Western Mail last Saturday, took a step closer to reality yesterday when the Welsh Premier club were locked in talks with Millennium Stadium chiefs.
The two parties were keeping the content of the discussions private, but an announcement should come within the next 24 hours.
