No one is standing pat at the Colorado Music Festival. That may be appropriate in cards - and it's certainly a common tack in the performing arts of late.
Yet, officials of the Boulder-based festival, which opens tonight at Chautauqua Auditorium, refuse to join the chorus of fearful, self-pitying organizations. Instead, the talk is upbeat, focusing on numerous innovations designed to attract more concertgoers.
New collaborative projects, visual aids, fresh programming concepts - they're all part of the event's 2003 look.
``The main objective for the season is establishing ...
