The Chicago White Sox had an early batting practice session Wednesday at the Metrodome. It started before 3 p.m. There were a dozen players taking swings or shagging balls in the outfield for teammates.
The Twins had an early session an hour later. Attendance on the field was about the same as it had been with the White Sox.
One of the Twins' advantages over the Mighty Whities again this season was supposed to be their zeal for playing the game. Now, here were the Sox out way early, showing the same enthusiasm for extra work as the Twins.
Could this mean the Mighty Whities actually have a commitment ...
