Jun. 26--South Korea is facing a summer of discontent as workers press for better conditions, leading employers dig in their heels and the government talks tough from the sidelines.
Hyundai is one of the main groups in the firing line as its employees press on with rolling strikes in support of re...uests for improved pay and conditions. Its shares, however, reversed early losses today to post a surprise gain of 550 won to 31,550.
