Marc Jones wants everyone to start talking about the spot.
"What's the spot?" he asked. "I want people to check out the spot."
He means DA Spot, his store at 1504 Grant Blvd. that sports his own athletic wear, Dreissig Athletic.
Jones, a Christian Brothers Academy graduate and retired European football star, started the clothing line in 1998. Since then, he has persuaded about 30 high schools, junior colleges and Division III schools around the country to put their sports teams in Dreissig uniforms and practice gear.
His latest move came in February, when he took a corner deli and transformed it into a clothing store ...
