Jun. 27--At Lyle's Smoke Shop in Fife, 41-year-old Char Russell sells the kind of fireworks that go boom.
And then some.
"One Bad Mother" rockets a light show into the air. "Bo Peep," a firecracker that became available last year and ranks among the most popular fireworks, ignites in water and makes a sound that belies its name.
It's all in the name of fun, said Russell, who stood in the shade of her vendor's stand Wednesday morning listening to Norah Jones and anticipating the rush of Fourth of July customers.
