Jun. 27--CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa--A new manager has been appointed by Quaker Oats Co. to lead its largest manufacturing plant in Cedar Rapids.
Tom Winters, who most recently managed Quaker's rice and pasta plant in Bridgeview, Ill., will succeed Roger Vincent as manager of the cereal and breakfast products plant at 418 Second St. NE.
Vincent, who became Quaker plant manager in November 1994, is leaving the company to become vice president of operations at Wells Dairy in Le Mars.
