History will play a big role in the future of Clay's Three Rivers Point project.
Several people attending a community meeting to discuss the project told town officials project plans should accentuate the history of the historic spot where the Oneida, Oswego and Seneca rivers meet.
The site, at the northern tip of Onondaga County, is where the Iroquois held their great councils and, according to some legends, is the spot where the Iroquois Confederacy was founded.
