The Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has appointed Delaney Lund Knox Warren to create its ad campaign alerting motorists to changes in the law relating to vehicle registration. The campaign is believed to have a budget of about [pounds]7m.

The agency came up against WCRS, BMP DDB and Leo Burnett in a pitch overseen by COI Communications. Media planning for the campaign will be handled by MediaVest.

The campaign, due to launch in September, will warn drivers that they could be fined for not properly relicensing their vehicles. A second phase of the campaign, which breaks next year, will highlight plans to issue new-style vehicle registration ...
