MY friend Msgr. Nico Bautista has been called a lunatic by his colleagues for disclosing matters taken up in a closed door meeting. In other words, for leaking confidential information. An indiscretion, to be sure, but hardly grounds for a psychiatric examination.
But what about the selective celibacy attributed to him by media? There is selective justice, selective promotions, selective awards, but selective celibacy is a puzzle. Most men and women practice celibacy with people they dont fancy. Thats selective celibacy.
