Mail-Order Debate
ARLINGTON, Va. - Current rules covering mail-order pharmacies are regulating the industry adequately, says the executive vice president of the American Managed Care Pharmacy Association.
Delbert Konnor, whose Arlington, Va.-based group represents the major mail-order pharmacy services (including those of Thrift Drug Co. and Phar-Mor Inc.), says mail-order businesses are held to the same standards as community pharmacies by the pharmacy boards of their home states.
