CLEARLY distressed and anxious about their son Simon's predicament, Robin and Maureen Clayton are obviously eager to do all they can to assist him.
Languishing in a jail which they claim is 300% overcrowded, their son was close to breaking point and required help immediately, they said.
The couple, who live in a detached house in the quiet, leafy village of Duddon, Cheshire, have been diligently working to secure his release from prison since May 20 - the day of his arrest in Lagos in the Algarve, on suspicion of abducting his daughter Estelle. But ...
