LANCASTER - The class of 2004 will have to complete a senior project to graduate after Antelope Valley Union High School District trustees rejected a proposal to suspend the senior project requirement for a year.
District administrators had wanted to eliminate the requirement for a year to give them time to make changes to the program.
``We will continue to have the senior project to the dismay of staff members and probably juniors who will be seniors,'' board member Al Beattie said.
