WASHINGTON, July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Lamaze(R) International is fighting back against the rise in the number of cesarean deliveries. A recent report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows a 26.1 percent jump in the number of cesareans in 2002, the highest ever reported in the United States. Lamaze is hoping its new online resource to promote, support and protect normal birth will help shoot down the high rate and encourage women to seek a normal birth.
