Had you been to Finlay- stone Gardens before?
Yes, I've been a few times with my other grandchildren and walking with my husband Hugh. It's a great place for kids to play and explore. And from where I stay in Port Glasgow it's a beautiful walk.
What was the attraction this time?
They're running a series of programmes on School Holiday Specials for kids at the gardens, which are a great idea. They're really entertaining for the kids, but they have an educational message too. On the day we went, the theme was recycling to protect the environment.
