ARLINGTON, Texas _ Alex Rodriguez's seventh All-Star selection reminded him of his first.
That's because he shared the excitement Sunday with first-time choice Hank Blalock.
Together, the shortstop and third baseman will represent the Rangers in the July 15 All-Star Game at Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field.
Carl Everett, in the Rangers' outfield until he was traded to the Chicago White Sox on July 1, was also voted to the team.
"It's great to see that players around the game see what we see," Rodriguez said of Blalock.
