Jul. 6--ARLINGTON, Texas--Quilters were surprised to see a new name on a familiar old place several months ago, when Abram House Quilt Shop became Lone Star House of Quilts.
The shop in a historic house at 1210 W. Abram St. sells specialty fabrics, notions, books, patterns and kits for ...uilters. It also offers a variety of classes.
Alice and Dave Cooksey of Arlington bought the shop Jan. 1 from Betsy Chutchian. The Cookseys knew what they were getting.
