Huawei wins ADSL sales contract from China Telecom, ZTE launches V7 series of PHS handsets
Shanghai. July 7. INTERFAX-CHINA - Huawei, a global telecom solution provider based in China, has been contracted to provide more than 1 mln ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) lines to China Telecom. The contract is a part of China Telecom's latest equipment purchase negotiations with all domestic major telecom equipment vendors for its nationwide ADSL project.
In related news ZTE, another mainland China-based telecom equipment vendor, has launched its V7 series of Xiaolingtong (PHS or wirelss local loop) mobile phones on the market.
