EUROPEAN FABRIC FIRMS STRESS MORE VARIETY PARIS -- European manufacturers at Premiere Vision are hoping to increase their share of business worldwide, but they'll do it by improving their product range, not by expanding the number of countries they reach.
With premature efforts to reach Eastern Europe markets stymied by revolutions, recessions and complications from the Gulf War, fabric firms aren't planning any invasions of their own. Instead, they'll offer the countries they currently export to a wider variety of fabric styles.
