In a village relying on history and atmosphere to attract shoppers, it's no surprise some of the newest entries on the Libertyville business scene are tapping those roots.
One will be the main tenant in a turn-of-the-century building downtown. The other is farther south outside the core business district in an elegant new building designed to look as if it has been there since the early days. Both are among the most eye- catching structures on Milwaukee Avenue.
That these two prominent spaces will be occupied by financial institutions is a coincidence. But for customers, this tale of two banks ...
