The LTC[R]1992-2 represents a new class of fully differential input and output amplifiers with a fixed gain of two. It provides significant performance improvement over discrete op amp solutions for driving differential signals in precision instrumentation applications, where stability with time and temperature is critical.
The LTC1992-2 has high stability internal gain setting resistors that provide a fixed gain of two with better than [+ or -] 0.3% gain accuracy and excellent long-term stability. This eliminates the need for expensive, precision, external gain setting resistors, thus reducing cost and component count over discrete solutions.
