Fitch Ratings assigns an underlying 'A' rating to Albany, NY's (the city) $21,908,218 general obligation (serial) bonds, 2003. Fitch also affirms the underlying 'A' rating on the city's $71.7 million of outstanding general obligation debt. The Rating Outlook remains Stable. Fitch was not asked to rate the upcoming issuance of approximately $5.1 million bond anticipation renewal notes, 2003 (BANs) and $10 million revenue anticipation notes, 2003 (RANs).
