Schick introduces a new flexible razor in bid to shave Gillette's market share
MILFORD, Conn. -- The maker of Schick shaving products is launching a new razor with a flexible cartridge designed to follow the contours of the user's face.
Warner-Lambert Co.'s consumer health products group said the Schick Tracer has the first flexible cartridge in the market and, therefore, is unlike the Sensor cartridge of Gillette Co., its major competitor. Gillette claims the Sensor also follows facial contours by pivoting rather than flexing.
