FABREX SEES USE OF MICROFIBERS IN BLENDS RISING

LONDON (FNS) -- A proliferation of polyester microfiber fabrics, often done as blends, marked the three-day Fabrex show, which closed here Wednesday.

Showing their lines for spring-summer 1992, several exhibitors noted that they have increased their use of polyester microfibers in blends with linen, wool, viscose or cotton. That's because some 100 percent microfiber fabrics have found resistance among apparel producers, the exhibitors pointed out.
